Princess: Tenacity, Passion, Joy

Transcription
There are many pathways to pleasure—from ice cream to sex,
But the attainment of joy—true joy—is a bit more complex.
Deep joy, to be exultant in your body and soul, takes something more than indulgence—it requires work—
not the kind you clock into with dread, not the kind that leaves you feeling like a stranger to yourself, deader in your spirit than when you began your shift.
No. It calls for the work that is an expression of your passion—whatever that may be. The kind of work that easily draws tenacity from you like dreams are drawn from sleep—naturally.
This is the work where you lose yourself and have no thoughts of being found, no thoughts, in fact at all.
This is the labor of love for those that we love. This is the work that
asks not for cash compensation,
because it pays us tenfold, Princess,
in Joy.
