Ode to the Garden of Carola

Transcription
Every woman needs her own garden of private delights..
Ever since Eden was soiled by pests, men and prying eyes,
Even Adam, Abel, and Cain have known better than to surprise
Eve's garden, Eve's peace, Eve's reprieve from everyday life.
Evenhanded, green of thumb, she reaps and sows, lovingly precise.
Evermore her garden grows—not to feed men's hunger, but to beautify,
Evangelizing her eternal queendom of marigolds and daffodils, white
Eventide blooms of Jasmine that sing scented hymns of mother moon's light—
Every woman, every seed and bloom of Eve, needs her own garden of private delights.
