Ode to Dhara: Healing House

Transcription
There is no word in the English language that can quite contain the meaning of "Dharma,"
So, where, exactly, should we look for the definition of something divine such as this? Should we turn loose the faucet in our mind to invite an unruly stream of more slippery word-things? More morphemes and letter mazes to become lost in that self-contained dungeon called "language?"
Should we overturn every stone and listen for the worms to tell it? What if we dig in the dirt? What might the holes tell us if the silence within the Earth escapes our understanding? Shall we plant seeds, then, and hope to harvest our Dharma?
Perhaps Dharma is where it should be—on the tip of my tongue, in the title of this poem, even here: Dharma Dharma Dharma... perhaps it is a gentle teacher that bids us not to rush, that bids us to come home to ourselves: our Dharma Healing House.
