Love, Stars, Happiness

It is said that the stars tell us our fate, what will become of our love, our happiness, and all, and so we sit and wonder and peer into the night, peeking behind the curtain into the world beyond—is my love star crossed & doomed like Romeo & Juliet? Or is all aligned in the sky? Does the zodiac portend for me happiness tonight, or strife? But for all this looking and divinating we do, it is not the stars whose passion and love burn bright enough to see through the million million mile expanses of space, but ours. The stars are our captivated audience, we are the drama of life, the greatest show in the universe and the only living souls with the power to determine our own lives. In short, look not above for wisdom, for it is within.
