Kat the Poet - Beautiful Resilient Fighter

Transcription
Homer spoke thunderous words to the
crowd of warring nations and ships adrift,
Dante laid careful verses to paint a
picture of hell, his quest for salvation
through the fires of damnation, the city
of Dis, the Devil in ice at the bottom-
most pit.
Shakespeare redefined what it means to
be human, played the trials of love,
asked whether we should live on this
stage we all share.
Kat the Poet--what will be said when the
ink has run dry? When the words of one
beautiful soul rise up in the air like
a mist, like a cloud--what will her
rain help to grow?
Resilient means results, a fighter to
the very last round--what magic will
Kat the Poet manifest before our gener-
ation's hourglass sand runs out?
I know not, but I hope to find out.
