Sometimes, I'm not so sure about things......okay.....maybe it's more often than "sometimes." But I was on the shore one radiant....ravishing Sunday morning I was reading from my favorite book (I won't tell what it is in case some snob wants to judge me) out loud as some books are just begging to be read—it's a kind of meditation for me....and something special happened when I thought I was alone....at a point in the book that always swells my soul like no other......the ocean reached farther than it previously had to laugh at my feet and cry at my feet and kiss me in joy—it stretched so far no place else as far as I could tell And I'm not always sure about so many things......but I knew then......that like me, she is a lover of books—of good books... the best. The ocean is.. She's a woman of course (I was reading a pretty girl type book after all). Since then, we've read together every morning—it's my favorite way to start the day. I've even learned to heed her requests—I can just feel when she needs poetry, when she needs cheering up—things like that.. She's my twin sister in reading and now......I'm the twin sister of the ocean—and I love my sis—even more than we love reading.
