Through the Leaves

Transcription
Sometimes you find yourself lost in a forest,
or found, depending on who you are &
what it is you're looking for...
You might not remember how you got there,
it might be cause for alarm,
or your memory might be crystal clear, like
a babbling brook, or it might simply not matter at all
if you find yourself dancing amongst the trees
& life beholding your steps, savoring your song...
There's a fine line between hope & grief, love & de
faith & doubt, light & dark...
It can look like the outline of leaves in
a sun-drenched canopy, bathing your face
in both sunshine & shade...
The interplay against the sky,
will it wring tears from your eyes?
Will they be proof of an inner
despondency or joy?
The trees abide, the forest is inevitable,
but the choice to behold it as this or as that
is your OWN.e.e
Whatever perspective you choose.e.
Just make sure to own it.
