Have you been keeping count, my dear? Not of our synchronized breaths in the night, though those I truly keep... Not of the blessed seconds in which we share in each other's presence, though these drops of paradise, in a jar, I do keep. Not of every glance between us that does meet, though these, too, I savor more than the sweetest sugar treat... Have you been keeping count, my dear? Of this true union that the Gods can't resist but to let repeat (as if they could stop us if they tried!) Of the weddings in all the worlds in all the lifetimes that we've shared? I've counted seven loves my dear, each one between me and you, We're both on our seventh marriage! Can you believe it? We laugh every time we say it and confuse our family and friends who hear it, and confound every statistic that claims the seventh time isn't a charm. So, my love, seeing as we have lifetimes left to share our hearts, I only say... I'm looking forward to the eighth!
