Resilience in a White Dress

Transcription
A few things in Miami will always be true:
it's hot
the traffic is abominable,
it's hot,
it's going to rain,
and...the bouncers here are pricks.
I'm sorry this is the wrong face. I'm sorry my wristband is blue and not the "correct" neon green with pink stripes.
I'm sorry I'm not friends with some ratty promoter
or the DJ,
I'm sorry I'm not the DJ.
Except...I'm not. Why should I apologize for myself to some overfed blackshirt black suited stormtrooper with a bitchface and a stick up his ass, all of their asses, when I'm a human being, when I Just want to have a good time like everybody else, when I showed up out of YOUR league in a white strapless dress?
I won't—I'm more resilient than that, and you can smart mouth me all you want but you should check yourself, because my friends are here, & I'm IN.
