Whoever came up with the idea of living in the moment was either a wise sage or a simple fool—I think the best of us are a little bit of both. The ocean does not pause her continuous motion to ponder the future or the past, she never closes off in self-serious embarrassment, no, she moves her body and sings herself with reckless abandon—she blesses us with this example and the best of us sing back her blessings and praises, pray not on their knees in the dark, but instead understand that their entire Life is a prayer whose gratitude expands across her beautiful body, beyond all borders and lands, flying with ease far out to space to give warmth to everything and nothing, and everything and nothing, breathing and blending in perfect union, out there and in here, in this room, in our hearts, everything and nothing returns our loving thanks with the music and light show of the cosmos that send shivers down every tuned in spine. Smell every flowering scent of stars that were and stars to come, touch the continuum's face and exchange caresses, know that the steps to this dance of sages and fools is alight within each and every one of us, and smile.
