I've seen storms come and go in this subtropic neighborhood, and I've seen lesser houses fold [crossed out: over; inserted: in] breezes. But back when men knew how to build things, back when dwellings of rock and stone cut the wind and the rain with less than a care, you carried me in your brick arms, somehow soft, though unbreak able... you still carry me... You're still unbreakable...So weather this pitiful storm because you are STILL our home!
