Some poems are complicated, feelings must be splayed and exposed on the page, concepts must be smashed together like atoms in a large Hadron Collider to even attempt to make sense of them poetically...but other poems are about simplification, or in another sense, unity. Take this poem for example—3 terms: Love, Universe, Eternity Don't you remember what you knew before young came to this place? No, not this beach, but this world.. Don't you recall? These "3" things are, in fact, One. The Universe, that some call "all" or "God" is, itself love; is, itself, eternal...eternity itself, actually.. and so are you.....and so is...me.
