Life, Love, Wisdom - for Sandra

Transcription
In your time here on this Earth, in your life—which I pray will unfold gently and curl up like a cat at your feet in your later years—if you are exactly as lucky as you deserve to be, you will encounter—no, you will swim in an ocean of love that you had to do nothing to deserve, because you already deserve it. But in your wanderings, though gentler intentions, like parent angels, might wish for you to frolic forever as a happy, foolish child, you may pass upon the road a fellow called Wisdom. If you meet this fellow, if he joins you in your tread, then I wish you more love, then I pray that you be well, because the path to wisdom is more often than not through the mountains and jagged cliffs of pain—and if wisdom is with you, then scars mark your skin and deeper places, and I offer these words as balm, as love's glittering, healing kiss.
