Learn to Love! Me, then All

Transcription
It's been said of late that love is a verb—not a noun. We who seek to do the great work of reparenting our barrens of trauma by planting trees to which we offer our tears, we are taught to tend to our pained brothers and sisters, together in scare and abandon, apart in the chambers of their
own hearts, to adopt, for compassion, the role of parent to others, to take up the black hole in this universe where the adult in the room *should* reside...but my brother, my love, don't forget the first child in our lives, whose love cradled tightly will tend our little light: the child we nurture inside—inside you,
inside me.
