Jackie Red Hair Love

Transcription
Jackie Red Hair,
the boys call her Love,
the girls call her Trouble the clouds call her lightning, the forest calls her flame—
and speaks of her in hushed tones lest she come to play her game—
the teachers called her sharp, the killers call her blade the men take off their hats and hold them to their hearts when she passes by their way,
When your hair stands up on its end it's too late to run or hide,
No time to craft a pretense or dream up pretty lies,
so stand up straight and fix your collar and your smile while you're at it,
because Jackie Red Hair Love
is about to strike your ass like lightning!
