What form of flowing exists but that which is free? A river burdened with blockage is what we call "damned." Is this any way for a river to be? The mare is meant to feel its mane glisten and shiver in the sun-induced wind, else the creature and its beauty becomes stuck in the mud of stagnation, fenced in as be it loses its light to permanent night....need I name a mare at night by a different name? But like you, at some point, beyond all bounds of tolerance or love or even the best of intents, we deserve to drop our burden of pretense like a chain into the sea, like a bad relation....you know what, let me not the rest is in your hands, and so is the blessed act, of living that lies ahead!
