My friend,
Whoever, wherever you are in this world,
ny your world, in your pits, cracks, CreviceSeee
me as no surprise that you've got a mom
you, who carries you and keeps your burdens and hurt
s has since the day you were born,
She does now, even today, on a downcast Sunday
rly afternoon in the Grovesee
faybe her requesting a poem fer you is exactly what
u'd know her to do--in any case, it's a blessir
m count, but I know what it is to lose count,
lose the will, to look out amongst the
sifting sand grains of goods and ills
that surround us, to look out to the crashing waves,
and to wonder 'why?' What for? To what end?
And...
I'm not a priest, an imam, or a rabbi, not a yogi,
not even a tree...
I'm 2 poet, which means I don't know anything, really

but I can feel, and the feeling of my experience is
you don't need to have anything figured out today,
you might feel just as much hurt, struggle, or pain tomorrowee.
But you will feel the rest in equal measure, I think
the pleasure, the little joys, the idea that ignites
an inferno in you, that gets you going, that compels you
with a force greater than gravity to let yourself
be pulled, to even fall..eforward, through today,
to tomorrow, and the next day...
Like us all...
So rejoice, and fall with us together, my friend,
and even if we never land, ‘
perhaps tomorrow, we'll fall through something better...
