Blessed, Laughter, Obedient

Laughter is the obedient herald to a person blessed, Take away everything from a person Throw them in dire straits Throw them to the wolves and lions of life Throw at them your utter worst But if you hear that sound The music of a spirit unbowed and unbroken If still, you hear them laugh Then you've utterly met your match And best strike your ire to ignition To burn awayto ash Because you've been bested by a blessing The evidence of heaven in the indomitable Power of laughter
