Benevolent Mother Moon

The cruel bright mother malevol- ent outshines her child as long as father time allows, and keeps them trapped within her largesse pull. Benevolent mother moon knows light and dark are give and take knows tides and waves, faces and phases. Freely she gives her milky light to wayward children all, waiting not for their ask- ing, but lovingly basking each wandering child within the hor- izon of her gentle eye's grace-- fulness and life to vision and visions awakening in the dark, freedom to lose ourselves to the seducing stars, to new loves to new directions--again and ag- ain--all the while knowing, with our wildest sense, that though we may dissapoint her who may her light temporarily rescind her patience promises her return her forgiveness washes our sin.
