I always hoped Eternity would bring me beauty," 'kindness,' courage, but to be honest, 1 didn't expect it to happen so soon. I feel like a dog who's caught his tail...I don't really know what to do. To think I have beauty, than men and women have died for, but which I am to go on living for, I suppose, so thank you for thatI'll do my best. And you've given me kindness, too—I may apply it to the tips of my fingers as a balm here on poem 16 for this day. And courage, well, I was thinking of calling it quits soon in the face of this long line hanging from our table, but thanks to you, I think I'm going to swell my chest and carry on…So thank you!
